Elaine Chen, Product Aficionado
During my 20+ year career in enterprise software, I have been a product marketer, a product manager, and even an engineer. My drive has always been a love for well-designed software products and communicating its value across the organization. In fact, just about every job title I've ever had has included the word "Product" in some fashion.
My approach is one of listening. Not just to my client, but also to all of the relevant stakeholders in the product lifecycle. I am able to leverage insights from customers, employees, and business leaders by eliminating the noise and identifying the key themes in their feedback to articulate the most direct route to success.
A key value for me is excellence. I strive to produce quality work that is comprehensive, impactful, and consumable. I love the elegance of a well-designed data model, the grand vision at the end of an evolutionary product plan, and the satisfaction of delivering a final product that I know I can be proud of.
I have worked at multiple startups, including some through their successful IPOs such as SuccessFactors and Workday, as well as at larger companies like Microsoft, Oracle, and Tableau. I received my undergraduate degree in engineering and computer science from Brown University, and my MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern.
I look forward to hearing from you and working together towards your success!
